Cargo barrier

Built a home made cargo barrier the other day. I had some leftover expanded metal and picked up 10' of 1" angle for the steel yard. Should have taken some pics when I was building it but I was in giter done mode.

Looks good. I've been wanting to do this for awhile as well but want one the pivets to be a shelf for sleeping in the truck.

I would like to put a gun rack on it for my scout rifle. I spaced it enough behind the rest seat so that a rifle would not interfere with the rear passengers. Also would like to tie it in to the platform in the back.

Looks good! I'm assuming the only bolts supporting it are from the 3rd row "oh s***" handles.... nothing hiding the bottom? Even though I don't think bottom support would be necessary.

Bottom supports are not necessary until you start mounting things to it. Or expect it to stop heavy loads. Then supports should definitely be added.
