I've never verified this, but this is what I have -- there are differences in the emulsion tubes and air jets

Oh man, I think they mixed these up too. I suspect that this was rebuilt professionally at one time as the slow jet hand stamps look like they were added and were marked correct on the bowl casting. Other photos of the Venturis they only have the "1" on both of them that was from factory. It looks like one of them has a hand stamp with a "2" on it as I'm thinking they were identifying it as secondary. This hand stamp is similar to the slow jets. Perhaps someone tried to rebuild after and got them mixed up.

Based on your photo, the Primary has the thicker walled tube and my carb has the thinner walled tube in primary. the "2" hand stamping is on the thick walled tube Venturi. Seems like these are incorrect as well.

I would agree. Someone stamped '2' on that Venturi for reason. It's common for people to confuse which side of the float bowl is primary. (it's the side closest to the valve cover for people reading this down the road). I usually just put a single dimple in the Primary side with a spring-loaded center punch.

Much appreciated! Good news is they got the main jets correct! The secondary butterfly was seized up. I’m learning a ton and it’s been fun. This thing should run like a top after this rebuild.

Did you already have a carb rebuild kit? If you do which one did you get and where? I am going to try and rebuild another one but I'm trying to remember where did I buy it and which one. Just an FYI, try not to switch the primary and secondary jets (#58,#62) I couldn't pass smog for running too rich and later on found out my mistake it's now on it's way to Mark's Offroad in Burbank so he can see what else I fawked up. :bang:
Napa sells them too. Quite sure that’s where I got one years ago.

Get the Keyster Kit if you can. Most kits do not come with a leather accelerator pump. City Racer sells those separately. Leather holds up better to corn fuel.

Good point. Believe I bought mine straight from a dealership.
