The Ironman is indeed the consumate gentleman. They flew him in to SC for the FJC unveiling back in the day and he took time with anyone that wanted to talk with him. Some people don't know when to shut up but the guy took it all in stride.

Rod Hall and team are tough competition and class act folks. We've beat them, they've neat us. A loss to them stings but isn't the end of the world as 2nd to Rod Hall is no joke.

Well they are winning so far (in their class, of 2 vehicles).. of course they are only 9 miles in to the race. I wish we could stream the view from the cockpit, that would be amazing.

Based on the tracking data it appears Rod Hall's truck went idle for ~20min at 261 miles giving Canguro a nice lead for the time being.
