I was thinking about going wih a couple friends this weekend anyway, can't remember if we said sat or Sunday. We could join up, I think it was just mine and one other truck. We were talking about going for tugwell again.

Thanks man, that would be great if we could join up with you! Gonna scratch that nice fresh paint on your BJ70 already? Or taking the mini truck in? I've actually never been into there...but looks like fun.

I will be taking the 70, the paint needs a few scratches anyway.
I think Saturday would work best for me. By Monday my t-case might be spread all over the shop.

What time would you guys wanna meet? We were thinking fairly early so we can have some good time to get to/ hang out at the lake. We could probably plan for bbq's and lunch up there.
 
Saturday works good for me. Could meet at the A&W in Sooke? Could roll out at 9am or so? Or did you want earlier?
 
I might tag along. I am in the middle of a week long clutch replacement....(don't ask). If the laws of gravity will give me an inch Ill have the trans back in my pickup Friday and will need a day to get a far away from the bloody thing as possible. Ride along?

I think I have 2 people with me but your welcome to squeeze in if you want (although I'm sure the others have seats too)
When do you think you'll be putting the trans back in? I will be driving by that way Friday, I could stop and give you a hand

Didn't you buy the most common douched up 'Merikan veehicle available?

How is it you're waiting for parts? I thought they sold that s*** at all the gas stations and 7/11's?

Needed a special overweight transport permit for the semi delivering it. Bigger must be better..... its the Merikan way.


And ya, ye 'ol gear jammers are getting scarce in all new vehicles. I think Ford even dropped the manual trans option, which just leaves Dodge for full size's without slushboxes. Chev gave it up over a decade ago.

Alright lads; I assume we are still a go for tomorrow. I'll be at the A&W around 8:30am or so. I don't know the Tugwell area, but have heard it is a lot of fun, so looking forward to it.
 
I have to finish up on the clutch job tomorrow. So its a no go for me. Damn.
 
Tugwell is well worth the trip... Haven't been in there in ages.

Have fun, I wish I could join you, but I've got other commitments this weekend... Not to mention 4.11s in the front and 3.70s in the back.
