Can I "Close" a thread?

Can I close a thread that I started?

Only Vendors will have that ability. Makes no sense to post a tech question, get the answer, then close it when others with the same/similar question may wish to continue the discussion.

Might work on that option in Classifieds for "sold" items, but not anytime soon.

I just posted a classified in the Wanted section by mistake. Now I can't close it. Or what happens when you sell something? what's the point to having old clssifieds sitting arround tht are sold or not valid??? I do not understand this concept! please help

Site policy has always left classifieds open for pricing research.

I like the old for sale threads for the pictures... a lot easier to find individual images of certain items

I have to agree , some parts that just don't show up for sale it helps to have the old sale threads for reference , used it many times myself .

@Delancy - if you have patience, report it and one of the mods will address it...if you don't, start a new one and link...prefer the reporting tho, no point in having two threads on the same item if it's avoidable
