It's pretty common to run a 60" track when you run large tires. Technically 35's are as wide as you can run
on a 40 without hitting the leaves on full lock unless you run your steering stops out. I've run 39's on a 60"
track with full turning ability
If you want stock width contact Radd Cruisers. I believe the BJ74's had a factory floater disc rear and were same width as a 40. John could tell you for sure
