That's no thicker than my truck floor.

Floor pans are like 18or prolly 20gauge..

Awwwh.....3/16th...

Most build it out of that and some go 1/4....

Depends on how you brace it, ARB stuff is thinner, like 10 or 12 gauge.

Edit... I know of three brake press machines and none of them can bend 1/4 that long, Aundrey at unlimited fab(just picked up a 1971fj40 yesterday) and BF Fab.. the third machine is in Chemainus ?

3/16th... so it is a bit thicker than my 10 gauge (1/8ish) floor. :D

Know anywhere that could bend me up some "Bud Built" 1/4s... perhaps in 1/8" though.

Nice design. I like it.

How did you cut out the brackets?

I did not do anything other than talk design over some beer.... Show up at his house and couple times through his design and fittment..

Thinking about cutting the ends off near the bumper plates (1/2 plate by the way) and turn the corners in a few degrees..

Ad some 1/4 plate on the ends to follow the bodle lines towards the back tires and tie that into the frame, protect the big arse on the 60..:hhmm:

He made a template for his plasma cutter, works pretty well.

Couple more shots with the slap chop:D, nice bit of angle..

I have started a build thread of this bumper on the 60 series pages. Its now finished, painted and winch installed. 2 problems, battery cable not long enough to reach rear of the truck, and the wire rope on the winch is toast. And I have to redo tailpipe. No pics of it on the truck until the tailpipe is done!
