That's no thicker than my truck floor.

Floor pans are like 18or prolly 20gauge..

Most build it out of that and some go 1/4....
Depends on how you brace it, ARB stuff is thinner, like 10 or 12 gauge.
Edit... I know of three brake press machines and none of them can bend 1/4 that long, Aundrey at unlimited fab(just picked up a 1971fj40 yesterday) and BF Fab.. the third machine is in Chemainus ?
3/16th... so it is a bit thicker than my 10 gauge (1/8ish) floor.
Know anywhere that could bend me up some "Bud Built" 1/4s... perhaps in 1/8" though.

How did you cut out the brackets?
