~161,300 miles / ~259,600 km | Calgary | Private Sale

Asking $39,500 (CAD).

If you are looking for a properly built, reliable Land Cruiser 100 that is ready to travel anywhere in Western Canada and beyond without compromise, this truck is it.

This is not a cosmetic build and it is not a project. Every modification was chosen for reliability, function, and long‑term durability, and installed by professionals. I have not put a single low‑quality or unnecessary part on this vehicle. If you know the Land Cruiser platform, the brands listed here will speak for themselves.

Selling only because I am moving to a GX platform this month.

The Short Version (for serious buyers)

  • Legendary 100‑Series Land Cruiser reliability
  • Extensively and correctly built for overlanding and winter use
  • Maintained by Pro‑Activ Automotive (Calgary LC specialists)
  • Two full sets of LT tires on OEM rims (summer + studded winter)
  • Excellent documentation — all invoices available
  • 100% reliable daily driver and expedition vehicle

Condition & Transparency (Please Read)

I believe in full disclosure. This is a 25‑year‑old Land Cruiser that has been used responsibly and maintained obsessively.

Known items (reflected in price):
  • Minor stone‑chip related surface rust spots (body is otherwise rust‑free; see photos)
  • Heated wiper switch casing broken (functions; replacement not yet done)
  • Some delamination on older 3M film (hood and mirrors)
  • One ARB marker light needs a bulb
  • Powder coat wear on auxiliary lights (cosmetic only)
  • Original leather shows normal wear for age
  • Front shocks show early seal wear — still functional, will eventually need service
  • Subwoofer rumbles slightly; speakers otherwise work well
  • Yakima spare‑mounted bike carrier is serviceable but worn
  • X-Jack is functional but shows surface rust
  • Main Compustar fob casing cracked (electronics and range are perfect)
Everything else works exactly as it should.

Major Upgrades & Equipment (Highlights)

Armor, Protection & Exterior

  • ARB Safari Bull Bar (Tyro polyurethane coated)
  • Warn Xeon 8‑S winch (synthetic line, wired remote, Factor55 FlatLink — used twice)
  • SLEE rear dual swing‑out bumper
    – Ladder + jerry can holder (left)
    – Spare tire carrier (right)
  • SLEE rock sliders (Tyro coated)
  • Full SLEE under‑armor (front skid, belly skid, intermediate guard)
  • Custom ultra‑low‑profile steel roof rack (Tyro coated)
  • ARB Safari snorkel (professionally installed)

Lighting (Properly Done)

  • Lightwerkz professional headlight retrofit (2019)
    – New Toyota OEM housings
    – HID projectors
    – Correct beam pattern (fixes the LC100’s biggest design flaw)
  • STEDI fog lights with DRL halos (yellow 3M winter film)
  • Auxiliary off‑road lights (SAE approved, tied to high beams)
  • Backup set of new‑in‑box STEDI lights (as these can be harder to source from Australia)

Suspension & Drivetrain

  • SLEE 2” heavy rear coils
  • SLEE front remote‑reservoir shocks
  • OME upgraded torsion bars
  • SLEE adjustable upper control arms

Electrical & Power (Expedition‑Grade)

  • IBS dual battery management system (monitoring + boost module)
  • SLEE second battery tray (Group 31 capable; space for ARB compressor)
  • Marine‑grade fuse box and wiring
  • Marine‑grade alternator disconnect (safe storage / field isolation)

Interior, Safety & Utility

  • Milford full‑length cargo barrier (removable)
  • Redarc Tow‑Pro Elite brake controller (in‑dash control)
  • Alpine touchscreen with CarPlay / Android Auto
  • Backup camera integrated into swing‑outs
  • CB radio hidden in armrest (pre‑wired antenna mount, off road red antenna included)
  • WeatherTech floor mats (front & rear)
  • Hi‑Lift jack with SafeJack stabilizer system (see note on condition)
  • Heated winter wiper blades (removable, internal switch - see note on condition)

Tires & Wheels (Included)

  • 5x studded Winterforce LT winters (1 season) on OEM Toyota rims
  • 5x Falken Wildpeak A/T4W summers (2 seasons) on OEM Toyota rims
    LT285/75R16

Maintenance & History

  • Always run on full synthetic oil, changed every 6 months
  • A/C evaporator core replaced in 2024 — blows cold and strong
  • Newer windshield + headliner redo and rust prevention at Power Chief Auto Body (corrects for a known rust spot on the 100)
  • Regular undercoating touch-ups
  • Serviced exclusively at Pro‑Activ Automotive (Calgary LC experts)
  • Originally a U.S. vehicle, properly imported; purchased by me in 2017 from a Canadian seller
This truck has been used as a daily driver and light expedition vehicle, not abused or rock‑crawled. It has far more capability than it has ever been asked to use.

Who This Truck Is For (and Who It Isn’t)

✅ For:
  • Someone who understands Land Cruisers
  • Someone who wants to drive, not build
  • Someone who values reliability over trends
  • Someone who wants a proven winter / backcountry vehicle
❌ Not for:
  • Low‑ballers
  • Tire‑kickers
  • Buyers who don’t recognize SLEE / ARB / IBS / Lightwerkz

Final Notes

  • Clean, honest private sale
  • No rush to sell
  • Serious buyers only
  • Happy to walk through the truck with knowledgeable buyers
If you know, you know. If you don’t — this is probably not the truck for you.

Im in can, looking for one of these, own a highly modified 70 series....
So lets talk about this price... we all know we only ever get half of what we put into our mods (if that), and nothing extra for maintenance, i recognize its been maintained to some level of competency and it shows, but there are a few issues looking at this, that maybe there are answers for
-priced with mods at full dollar
-no engine maintanence history provided (yet), ie 2uz timing belt and starter most importantly
-no suspension or undercarriage pics, every serious LC person needs to see this...first
-at 250+km its a $16k-18k vehicle in stock form
-vehicles at this level or higher mods and condition for sale in can at $34k and are not moving (ive been looking 1.5+years)
-at this price i would expect lockers / driveline upgrades
-needs COMPLETE picture and startup videos at this price, any serious seller would not neglect these....

Everyone on here knows their shiit, we arent fazed by ARB-SLEE-LIGHTWERX... thats just the stuff it should have...not quite enough here if you want to move it at this price, $30k max at this level of documentation
just the truth, not a hit piece, still looks like a solid truck, but a $30k (max) vehicle
If it had 100k km maybe.... but it has 250k and that matters and caps your maximum value

Good feedback, thank you. Part of the process is figuring out the right price (I admit it was hard to figure out where to start it at). Certainly pics, start-up and docs are available for those interested. I'll adjust the listing to clarify this and also add the key pics you pointed out when I have time. Thanks again.
