Camp at Buck island friday night? or somewhere in between the big sluice and Bucks?. Then to the springs for sat. Problem is I need to be leaving the springs about 12:30 to be back in time for the wolf pack game at 4:00
Just throwin that out there for anyone to think about? Maybe this is a bad weekend for me

The last time I went to the Marlin Crawler Roundup it was a total goat rope on the trail. I would recommend finding a different place to go this weekend.

Looks like the new plan is a day trip to the first water crossing on Fordyce from the I80 side. Meet Saturday at the OHV staging area for an 8:00am leave . I'll post directions later.

We plan to go in from the I-80 side to the first water crossing, this section of trail is relatively easy compared to the remainder of the trail however the return trip up the hill from the water crossing may provide some challenges for an open diff vehicle.

We are planning this as a day trip but there are a few good campsites along the trail if anyone wants to spend the night.

I am ready for this. Hope RayJon can make it, and any others of you that are locked and armored. I would rate this as a 3+ and only due to the section coming up and out from the first river crossing. Should be fun for all.
