A couple of threads were useful when I did mine--one to remove the door panel and the other had tips to do the install:

I did mine when it was warm out and soaked them in soapy water before installing them which made it easier to slide down the run. I just shoved it into the door as far as I could, then actually held on to the glass while rolling it down the window pulled the channel down. Might not have to remove panel if you do it that way, but it helped to see what I was doing and I was replacing my speakers too. I would also recommend leveling out the glass if yours has slipped down as it will still rattle a little if the glass is not fully secured in the channel. Changing them out helps a lot when the temps go down. I used to have to "help" the DS window up, but not anymore. Hope this helps.
