Looking for a set of front axles for an 80 series. Inners and birfs. I'm in Corvallis.
There's a guy at Victor crossing and Eastside highway that has some 80's being chopped up, he may have something helpful.

Yea I have see that guys place. He's a machinist, thats all i know. we put his service in when we re built that line for that Eastside hwy project. That's a good idea! Maybe I'll swing in and see what he has.
He's a cool dude, I've stopped in a time or two and chatted with him, he built a cool ass camper rig onto an 80 chassis.

They were on my 80 for about 20k miles. They were rotated every 5k miles and are about 60% worn. The wheels are stock wheels from an 80 series and have a 4” backspacing with a 6x5.5 bolt pattern
They were great tires but I moved up to a 17” wheel and 37s.

Not sure where else to ask this so here it goes... Does anyone in the Bozeman area know anyone who works on large zippers? My RhinoRack awning's zipper bit the dust after 3ish years. Considering the first zipper broke in under a year, I can't say I'm impressed. Everywhere in town I've called has said it's too big for them to fix. Has anyone fixed the same/a similar issue? I'd hate to toss it as it functions fine.

Mine is the same way...Let me know if you find someone.

Did you try the Sewing Shop near DQ downtown? She’s fixed some jackets for me. I’d bet if you meet her she’ll take it on if it’s just new zipper pulls?

What’s busted? The actual teeth or does it not zip up? The later is easy to replace the zipper pull, if the teeth are broken off/missing then it needs a new zipper.

Man, I’d light a fire under the manufacturer…

i have had luck with my old tepui buying zipper repair kits they sell at REI or Bob wards. Its tedious but redoing a seam and replacing the pull isn't impossible. i think i used fishing line or something like that also to be stronger then it was initially.

Anyone out there have some stock wheels for the 16" on the 100 series? I don't know the exact wheel specs but I'll do some digging.

how many do you need?
I've got some in Helena

Sweet. I'm looking for a set of 4 so I can stop dealing with the ol' seasonal tire changeovers. Are they in decent condition?

I suspect they would be tough to ship, I won't be down your way until my June road trip.

H&H express is cheaper than you think
I'm not familiar with that option, I'll do some Googlin'

I suspect they would want the rims to be all boxed / crated up or something .

Where do they need to go in NW MT? I'll be in Helena this weekend, and could find a reason to go ski Whitefish soon. Unless you make it to Missoula beforehand.
