So locally to me is an FJ80 with a Cummins 4bta VE pump. Anyways here's some info from the ad.
Let me know if this would be better posted elsewhere also.

Now for a few photos..

This won't be first cummins or first engine swapped vehicle.

I have an 03 super duty lariet crew cab with an 05 cummins sitting in front of an ATS transmission.

That being said I'm not familiar with the 4bta.

I'm also doing a swap of my own ATM, it's slow, but here's a link to those interested. Samurai ALH, toyota running gear.
ALH Samurai - The Slow Build - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

The land cruiser would be a DD for me as well replacing my 2013 Golf TDI when VW buys it back.

I would like some help, I'll be going to look at this tomorrow, and if everything checks out and I believe it to be a good deal will purchase tomorrow or Wednesday

This motor mirrors the first gen cummins super simple bosch VE rotors pump. It's got an aftermarket air to water intercooler nothing special. swaps like this I always try to look at the parts and there used street value . this has a ton of good parts that in my neck of the woods seem to add up pretty quick. if your use to cummins you'll probably find that it's revs a little high at highway speeds. 3.55 gears are a lot better than 4.10 but that my be my opinion

Well, what kinda price range would you put on it of course cheaper is better.

10k to 15k that's what I'm trying to figure out myself.

I think that range is reaistic. The truck looks like it needs some love but if you follow guys' swaps on here, you realize they went through a ton of work getting the swap done right. The caveat is that if the job is done poorly it isn't worth squat. Do some searching about engine vibes with the 4bt, especially at idle, and make sure you're ready for that. Hope it works out, good luck!

I believe there are mods to the 4bt to smooth her out. Can't remember what, 6bt balancer maybe?

I've seen that one for a while. I think it is a little high IMO.

You can get a 4BT with balance shafts, but IIRC that was only an option on marine powerplant engine blocks. Nothing that you'd yank from a bread truck.

My range would probably be more around 9k - 10k, maybe 11k, but I doubt it's as nice as what images make it appear.

Given it's high mileage, but I feel it's a vehicle worth maintenance money and cleaning up.

As long as no big expenses arise that is.

I did find a previous owner and this is what he said.
Pic of messages.

4bt will always have a rough idle. liquid fluid mount help 6bt damper might do a little but a flat crank 4cyl gas or diesel will always have that tractor feel. high idle makes it smooth out but most complain about it pulling to hard at stops. i don't mind mine at all. but if your use to an 05 Common rail it will be night and day difference. once there going down the road they are very similar to all other diesels.

so a new bit of info has arrived, the man I found who was previous owner sold the thing for 7000. I guess this new info leaves a ton of room for negotiation for me, 7000 would be fair deal for sure I think**, doubt the guy would sell it for what he paid, but maybe if he made a few hundred he'd let it go.

Now I'm debating a lot.

also the ac mount and belt looks goofy. do you have to remove the radiator hose to replace the belt? I've goofed mine up before there area few different tensioners and they mount different places to allow for different belt routing. that looks like an industrial/commercial mounts

Well guess what, the new owner hasn't touched the thing. so safraid to expect it still has transmission leak, power steering leak, and it appeared to leak a bit of engine oil around oil pan.

Okay, so wow, it's loud it vibrates and idk if I could get used to it or not.

It's also sad that the new owner said it was a 2000 model engine, where the old owner said 1995. maybe I need to be schooled bc the truck had a rotary pump and I'm pretty sure those went out a long time ago.

I may give him his money back for it. 7000 it shifted great and had okay power though.

It definitely is a fixer upper and you'd be buying someone else's problems.

The body all in all was good for a rig this old that I'm sure has seen trails, nothing serious off road though. also I don't believe the front end has been rebuilt newly or recently, possibly in the vehicles life just not recent.

Again maybe 7000 to 7250 just so the guy can pocket something, but idk if I'd ever fully love it.

Do you know who installed the engine. Proffit's? Check the frame and see if it was notched to fit the accessories on the passenger side. Like @cjmoon said the belt routing is not good. You shouldn't have to unhook a coolant hose to change a belt. Oil leak on the power steering/vacuum pump is an hour fix with a $20 seal kit from Cummins. If the dude bought it for 7K he shouldn't expect to get more for it. It's not that special.
If you don't know if you can get used to the rattle and shake walk away. You won't. You need to love the rattle and shake to own a 4bt. Depending on where they mounted the motor you may be able to drop in a 6bt later on simply.

Also, is that Goodyear red hose being used for the heater lines??

I'm not sure, I think I've made up my mind that unless 7000 would buy it I wouldn't be interested in fixing it.

I would pay much more to get one with a new fuel pump and better install, just this one is 30 mins away is why I got excited.
