Testing the pic instructions lol. This is my new pickup (2008, 78k ) first ever LC.

Saw that one on auto trader too. Says they will FILL YOUR TANK top. Lol. Perfect. Sold.

Katkon, thank you for sharing your experience; still waiting for mine to get to port. Hoping there won't be any dealer nonsense. How do you like the navigation screen? Read the manual a few times, and learned that the home screen allows up to three systems to be viewed at once. Curious about the choices of what can show up on the home screen, which ones you picked, and if you like the overall look.

Carl, who did you deal with in CT?

That sucks. I have to say I've been pretty pleased with the dealers I've dealt with in the North East. Brought my 100 in for service to a dealer in Ct who I knew had a few 200s on the lot. First time dealing with them. Called made and appointment for the serves and said I wanted to check out a 200. Sales guy was waiting the service bay when I arrived. Gave us the super gold treatment and ever through in a Toyota Nascar jacked that I had been admiring when I bought the 200.

Just curious, when you talk option are you speaking of colors? In '13 there were no options offered except floor mats. The truck came loaded.

Google the lying dealership and leave a bad review on google. Yelp the dealership and leave a bad review. Get on Facebook and leave a bad review. Call Toyota corporate and inform them of your disatisfaction with the dealership. Then cut off all ties with that dealership and continue on with another dealership. If your still not happy, buy an Icon instead....

I'm going to guess that the location is Houston. I had a horrible experience buying a new 2003 tundra stepside limited. It was hard to find a limited stepside 4wd and I found the one I liked 400 miles away at a Houston dealership. Agreed to price on phone and made the drive the next day. Showed up and they wanted to add on crap saying they didn't factor in the aftermarket exhaust and bed liner. Well I drove right back home and waited a month for my local dealership to finally find one they could attain. Paid less and got the exhaust and bed liner I wanted all for less than the Houston dealership wanted. I was floored that a dealership would lie about price just to get me in the door. If I remember correctly they wanted $1500 more than agreed.

I have found, after a couple sorry sales encounters with a local dealership, that being brutally honest on Toyota customer satisfaction surveys gets results. I ended up buying my 4Runners out of town rather than with the aforementioned local dealer. On both occasions I was contacted by the general sales manager to resolve my buying experience complaints. He also asked that I not write any more letters and to contact him directly rather than notifying Toyota Motor Corporation.

He said one phone conference started off with the KC Regional manger wanting to know what the hell they did to piss me off so bad.

Voicing your frustrations to Toyota does work.

This 2016 Land Cruiser for 76k in Paris Texas is a demo with 2k miles.

I put $500 down with an out of town dealer yesterday who claimed that he could bring in a 2016 for 77k + ttl. i bought a highlander from this dealer and salesman in the past after again getting frustrated with the local toyota dealers.

most of the texas toyota dealers never provide a price once you give your information on the the "instant price quote" page.

disposable email accounts and google voice phone numbers are mandatory of dealer shenanigans like this.

I spotted this 16 online today at the best price I have seen so far on a 16 @ 76,155.00. Almost 10K off sticker. I was not expecting to see that happen for a least 3-4 more months.
Its in Texas.
Check out this 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser on Autotrader

Gulf States Toyota makes it tough to get a new Land Cruiser. I have been trying to buy a silver 2016 for a month. I had two deposits down on cars. One was a dealer trade that the other dealership would not release, and the other was a special order. The special order for silver would not be delivered for 3 months. So... I bit the bullet today and bought a 2016 that the dealership's owner's wife was driving for the last 7 weeks with 600 miles on it. It was the classic silver I was looking for, and I got it for almost $3,000 off dealer invoice. I was sad to see my LX570 go, but I love the new LC. It will be with me for a long time. Now can we get TRD to make a cold air intake and exhaust for the 200 series... Happy New Year Cruiserheads!

Congrats on the new Ride!
What interior color did you get?
Post up a pic or two when you get a chance. Silver is the color I am likely going to whenever I trade up to a 16 or 17.

Pics soon. I am having it professionally detailed. Need to have them clay it and then put a nice wax on it. I'll snap some pics when I pick it up. I got Classic Silver with Black interior. Now it is time to figure out wheels and other mods. I ran some 22" forged wheels on my LX570 but it never went off road. I think I will go with a different set up on this one. I am looking at the 17" TRD wheels, but no one knows if they will fit on the 2015 LC yet because the 2016 has larger rotors and there may be an issue with cramming the 17" wheels on there with the new brake calipers. No on at my local dealer has been able to answer that question yet.

Do you want to borrow a TRD RW to try? I have a couple of spares mounted with 34x10.50. We could meet tomorrow - my office is ~75/GBush. Actually, I could pull two off of the trailer if you wanted to try all 4 but keep in mind the tire size.

Also, there are two 2016s within an hour of me if anyone wants to check a TX dealership. Paris is half an hour with the 77k Black mentioned above. I need an oil change anyway so could visit the silver at Toyota of Dallas just as easily. It would be no problem - but I have to go out of the country 8th - 13th so let me know soon :)
