My apologies Sid, I forgot to call and talk to ya about the winch. Apologies to anyone else who may be interested in this because I also forgot to "un dibs" myself. I picked up something already so I don't need this any longer.
Somebody jump on it though cause, IMHO, this is the first thing since the 8274 that really changed the winch market. Its the winch I've always wanted - that's why I jumped at it so quick.

Been looking for some good quality yet reasonably priced ratchet straps and may have found some. Probably buying some in the next few days and I'd bet, from talking to them on the phone, there could be a discount for a larger order. So I'm posting up here to see if anyone wants to go in on a group buy to see about trying to get an even better deal. You can mix and match almost any options of ratchets and straps, including lengths. By the way, if anyone likes the setup I have on my car trailer with the mounted ratchets, they have those too for half the price of Northern Tool.

As an example of what I believe to be a deal, here's what I am ordering:
- 2" ratchet assembly with rubber grip handle and 7-link chain and grab hook on that end.
- Strap side is a 2"x15' strap with the bent hook end.
All that for $11.50 a piece (plus modest shipping charge)
Pic 1 is the rubber grip handle..........Pic 2 is the chain & hook end that'll be on the ratchet........Pic 3 is the strap and hook end.

38.5 swamper sx with allied rockathons
4 15x10, 6 lug with 2" back spacing, allied rockathons with only 6 runs on them. Tires are 38.5x14.50-15 super swamper sx's. 2 only have 6 runs the others have quite a bit of wear, but still in good shape.
