I have an 85 Bundera that has a Chev 229 V6 using the original G52 gearbox that came with the car. I'm wanting to swap it for an auto.
Whilst keeping in mind that there is an adaptor being used to mate the gearbox and engine, What auto would I be able to use that will not increase the total drive train length?
I'm sure it's not going to be as easy as I hope, but I thought I'd ask the gurus before ditching this gearbox and adaptor and going for a th700 and new transfer adaptor.
