Jason,
I have been contemplating selling my 62 (see sig line) because i bought a 40 that will leave my 62 lonely in the barn. I just can't make myself sell it yet. Your rig looks awesome and very well thought out!! Your price is extremely fair!! If i would have bought yours instead of doing the mods myself, I would of SAVED near 10G's. Some smart person that wants to build one will come across this thread and find their rig that will save them thousands!!!
Be patient, it will sell.

Someone really needs to give this a good home. I just threw it in my sig line to hopefully draw more attention.

I have several of the same upgrades in my truck, and if the others are as worthwhile, this must be a stellar truck.

JMO but I think what might be scaring people is the high mileage and trans that is going south.. well those and the fact that no one seems to have any money. But obviously this rig has had tons of money and time invested and the parts probably add up to twice the asking price. I just sold my 60 and this thing has me tempted though....

The correct buyer for this truck wouldn't be worried with the mileage but would see it this way: The parts list makes it a good buy without a motor. The fact that it's running strong is gravy on the deal.

Awesome rig

:cheers:Had I the oppertunity before starting the BT-60 rebirth I would have jumped on this as I am doing almost the same thing, This would have been so much cheeper and quicker too. Hang in there man don't part it someone will buy this truck soon. Dang timing is everything. Darn:mad:

PM's sent. not quite ready to part it out either.

thanks guys for the help. i do want to see it find a home. as far as the engine and tranny go. Greg pretty much hit it straight on. the engine is running top notch I am not sure you will find a stronger 3fe out there. it has alot of power with the injectors dialed in the 3mm bore out on the throttle body and the 2.5 inch ss straight flow exhaust. it has alot of good power. while the adding the extreme valve body it does slip on first start up the new valve body is like adding a turbo and takes away all the sluggishness of the A440 tranny. it really is night and day difference. if you are scaried of the tranny this would be an easy H55 or H41 swap and you would make your money in parts back by selling
extreme valve body $795
B&M tranny cooler $100
Tranny temp gauge (from Australia) $275
Mcnamara replacement gear $250

Oh well hopefully some one will see the light I am not in a huge hurry yet to move it in that my lv while ont he road still needs tome shake down time.

IndianDoc I went to the College of charleston way back when Charleston is a fun city. its changed alot since I was there but still the same in alot of regards.

Side Panels

That's the side panel section of Kevin's website ( kevinmrowland is the owner + sole employee ). Fogblanket has pictures of the ones on his truck above.

these are actually the prototpes of kevins side panels.Kevin doesn't want these circulationg so he is sending me a new set. those pics were acutally taken for Kevin so he could see how they fit in an fj62 in that he has a fj60. Kevin's products are amazing the craftsman ship is second to none. I told him he was crazy and that these panels are fine but he insists on changing them out for a new set so if it sells before I get the new set. i have to swear to let Kevin know where it is going. again I can't say enought about how excellent a product the panels and tailgate lid are.
