Up at Jim Barkley Toyota getting a key programmed to the 100 and saw this sitting outside being fitted with sliders. I was told it had been to hurricane creek and Moab already.

VERY NICE...yes please!

Gotta give the guy some cred for wheeling a 70k + vehicle... Apparently he made some cruiser calendar or something... Not sure what all that is about, but still a nice looking 200

GSMTR 2010...$100k 200 series built by IPOR. Going up the big ledge on Trail 2 at GMP.

Here comes a stupid question... Is there anything on the 200 that makes it worth wheeling that kind of money???

Just the luxury & creature comforts inherent in a 200 series. $80k for the truck and $20K in mods. These guys were planning a long trip across Canada. Not really heavy wheeling, but wanted to be able to go most anywhere and setup camp. GSMTR was not really their cup of tea, but they did get on a few trails.

Ok makes sense, although not for really us. Thanks for the answer.

Give the 200 series about 3-5 years and you'll see them 1. come down in price and 2. get wheeled like the hundys do... It is a never ending circle. I can remember when the hundred was considered by most on Mud as the ultimate mommy car, now folks have transformed them to quite capable wheeling machines. Plus that 5.7 iForce V8 is a beast!! It could turn 40's without blinking an eye

Downside is how heavy they are compare to 40 or even a 60 series. That's why they need to bring the 70 series to the States.

Ledge has gotten bigger since that 200 was on it as well. More rock is now exposed.

IT'S STILL A LOT OF FUN TO RIDE UP AND DOWN.
That's the same ledge from Joshs' 60 for sale post w/ me spotting.

There's a thread on that truck in the 200 series section (IPOR built 200). It has a lot of mods and has been lots of places...
