More AC condenser work.
1) Here's the clearance I have (essentially none at the top)
2) Condenser mounted now that the bracket mods are done
3) Had to tweak the lines that came with the kit since I had adjusted the inlet and outlet of the condenser but it all fits together. Next up is to fit up the AC lines from the compressor and the heater hoses.

Not too much to report. Been chasing my tail trying to find a combination of parts, fittings and hoses that will fit the AC and heater without looking like a basket of snakes. Tried a bunch of different parts with no success since there's not much room from the outlet of the compressor to the inner fender. Good news is I should have what I think I need in a couple of days and I found heater hoses that fit near perfect (just need to trim the long end).
Second photo is a no go. It fits but there is no room left for any flex, plus no service port.

I saw that you've saginaw power steering and looks like you're using a 90 degree hose end for AN6 PTFE line. I'm using the same but i just would like to know which power steering filter are you using on the low pressure hose

Thanks

Haven't sourced anything yet. Open to ideas though...

I'm looking for it but haven't found any that fits to the PTFE AN6 yet. The filters I've seen have bigger diameter than the AN6 hose.

Please let me know if you've found one.

Thanks

My reservoir is -8 so I have the same issue.. So far, I'm looking at a -6 AN to -8 hose barb fitting and then hose clamps on -8 for the connections to the reservoir. A couple of Summit part numbers I'm looking at EDD-70700 & SUM220186B.

Haven't got a filter yet. Considering the Edelmann 70700. Ten bucks through Summit.

Late model Corvette style (TC). Holley 198-100 is an example.

Your hoses are AN6 PTFE? stainless braided teflon ?

Russell hoses?

I used the Russell PTFE teflon AN6 power flex on the high pressure line. This teflon won't work on the pressure because the internal diameter is 11/32 and the 3/8 barb style filter won't fit since the teflon won't stretch

on the low pressure Russell Pro flex Rubber AN6 and will put clamps on the filter (according to technical support at russell says that this will stretch and fit on the power steering filter)

Both are steel braided

In the first paragraph of the previous post , I meant " teflon won't work on the LOW pressure...."

With the AC plumbing all done, it's time to move on to the next project. Pulled the the tub again and started in on the fuel system.
1) First bends for the feed and return lines
2) Found a good location for the fuel filter
3) Got the return line where I want it
4) Feed line in place
5) Feed line from filter. A little more fab work today and this will make sense.

Damn, nice work. I'm gonna retire next year, come over to your house and hang out:popcorn:

Yep. Distance is not the problem - finding time on the weekends is. I want a retirement t-shirt like yours!
