Sounds fun :cheers:, my favorite time of year for putting down a few Abita Strawberry brews. I had a couple at Dwight's this week over crawfish :D

Isaac, have you talked to Deryl lately? I am going to BR tomorrow morning to pick up a F155 (a late '73 F engine) from Cole to put in the 40. I am planning to rebuild the 2F currently in it. Wanna do some :wrench: and some :beer: with us?
By the way, the :wrench: and :beer: goes for anybody that wants to come to the Mandeville / Covington area and have some fun. :clap: Not sure when we will be doing it, but hopefully soon.

I apologize for the "old" comment. Maybe I should have said "older cruisers" as the oldest FJC's are only 4 years old...... :grinpimp:

As for the skills, that sounds just like me. I have no skills.....Deryl is going to the brains of this operation, as usual......:eek:

anyone up for some welding and working, i have all the stuff to swap my rear springs, but my dad is occupied with his house right now.

so i need someone with a welder and some time.
 
I will be working on the Saturday before the crawfish boil so Paul will be camping Saturday at Lake Fausse Pointe without me.

I will go meet him on Sunday but would like to hitch a ride with whomever is going Sunday to avoid having both of our vehicles there.

If anyone is okay with picking me up on Sunday please let me know via the forum or pm or email.

Wish I could help bud I'm tied up the next three weekends in and out of town . I'm headed down 90 to New Orleans for the weekend so if you need something dropped off from this way let me know.

No welder and plan on wrenching more on the 4Runner. Its a good idea to tack things well and test fit it all before welding it up. Don't ask how I know, just following the directions isn't always the best result. What are you going to run for shackles?

yeah thats the plan: tack up the mounts, then bolt everything on and put it down on the ground and check everything then maybe drive around the yard a little, then weld it out.

i already have my own made on there now and will be able to reuse them.

No John I don't have a ride yet. That would be great if me and Tiki could ride with you and Erin. I guess you guys won't be camping?

Let me know what time you will be leaving and also if you will pick me up at home or I meet you somewhere.

Well looks like I got my dates crossed do not come in until May 5th so I can not attend or give a ride to anyone Mrs Jean sorry for the confusion My Bad.
