Today i found 1994 80 land cruiser with front and back lockers, he said he will sell it to me for $3000.. it has 200,000 miles on it., plus it needs a new paint job. What y`all think? Same color as Eric

Talk him down in $$$ and punish it. I have 200 K and try and break mine daily. The PO did a head gasket replacement so I can only think that would be the major concern for you. They are not my favorite cruisers but with lockers and just a little cash, they are worth the money IMO. Also front axle rebuild is a consideration as well. The thing I dislike the most is that they are all automatic in the U.S.A. Also if not modified, they suck gas like it is going out of style. The comfort factor is a big plus for me after coming from earlier cruiser technology. I say get him down a few hundred and go for it;.

No sense in letting you be the Lone Ranger. I'm peeking in also. I miss everyone as well. I miss not having a Cruiser just as much. I'm working on fixing that problem.
Saw Albert in town today. He said he has been pretty busy and still having truck issues. Seems like it is probably an electrical issue. He says that he doubts he will do any wheeling this year. That's sad to hear but at least he is keeping busy.

Just thought I'd check in as well. I'm down about $1500 in Cruiser repairs over the past few months. One more week before my golf scramble and hopefully life will return to some normalcy where I can get in here a little more often.
Anybody know if there is some way to get more leg room out of a 1997 80? I looked at one today and I was right up on the Steering wheel. Larry? Scott? You guys are tall. Do you feel cramped? Also, for Marty, hows the leg room in your 100?

I like the leg room in the 100 more than I like the room in the wife's suburban. I'm happy with it and was fine driving across America in it.
