Hey BSLCA Gang,

As I mentioned last week, part of my hectic schedule has been helping Jonna start a new business over the past several months. Everything is good to go now and I am asking for your help to spread the word.
Basically the business is a Children's Consignment Event that will occur twice per year. Moms can take everything that their kids have outgrown or no longer use and sell them and can earn up to 70% of the sales price and those in the market for kids gear can go purchase gently used items at a much reduced price.
The whole reason for starting the business is because as you know we had a surprise 3rd child 5 years after we thought we were done, so we had to go out and buy everything brand new. We quickly realized that it would have been much better to be able to get items that were gently used that we would not have had to spend as much on...especially since she was just going to outgrow everything within a couple of months.
A guy that I work with does this business in Monroe and we decided to bring it to Lafayette. The company is called Munchkin Market Resale and the website is Munchkin Market Resale :: Home.
If you have children or any family or friends that have children, please go to the website or send them there.
This Spring's event is in two weeks, at 1601 Kaliste Saloom (near River Ranch)...go online and sign up for a consignor number, tag your items with the price that you are comfortable with, and drop them off Sunday 3/14 - Tuesday 3/16, and then the shopping starts on Wednesday with it being open to the public Thursday - Saturday. Anything question that you can come up with can be answered on the website.
Thanks for helping Jonna and I spread the word on this.
Eric
