I think I remember reading some 95's had it and some didn't.[/QUOTE

1994 was first year OBDll if Calif bound other wise 1996 was mandatory all some1995 could be OBDll depend on date of mfg.

OBDll only tells ya what it sees as the possible problem ---- but it is often paranoid/schizophrenic and just plain old lies to ya it has quite a narrow ban of parameters that it uses and off-times can lead ya down a primrose path. you still need to be able to test the componet and wiring / know what you are supposed to see!

still can spend alotta moola chasing what OBDll thinks what it is.

better that nothing but could be a whole lot better:mad:

I'd say 95 - 97 because they were OBII complient which make it nice to scan if there is trouble but I wouldn't turn my back on a a clean late 93 or 94 if they were good buys :) 91 - 92 with 3FE and different tranny were dogs from what I heard but they have their fans too.

remember, my reference vehicle is a 40  speak after me "closely related to a tractor"

if I buy anything other than OBD II compliant, I will never hear the end of it......

man, I am so glad my 40 passes muster of my cruiser guru - mostly it's the PO's doing, actually, and they did every right for a change :grinpimp:

Not all 95's were OBII. At least that is what I remember reading......my memory is a little rusty these days, I could be wrong.

I'm not sure when they started but it would be good to know. I need to look at my production date to see if its early or late production model. Its not a make it or break it deal to have it but its a nice reference point when you're diagnosing issues. :meh:

I did a little searching but there are so many 80 section threads that start like "what year should I buy" or anything on those lines that I gave up. Like Paul stated I don't think it makes much difference. Give me a carburetor and I am happy!:D

the last one took forever

I am sucky on the fly swatter:lol:

Top morning to yall.
