I had something like that happen with after market pedal covers in the runner. The ones I bought has screws that stuck out of the back of it. The one near the hump would go through the vinyl floor and get stuck in it. Very scary! Pulling the vinyl out was the answer to that problem.

saw a red 40 parked around the area by Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge today

anybody here ?

I work just about one block away :D

I haven't been in here for three weeks now...with the new baby and Jonna being limited in what she can do and me playing Mr. Mom with the other two, I have been able to find about 10 minutes a day to think! Anyhow...things have slowed down now and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the kind words of congratulations. Davis and I are definitely going to the SCC next weekend and we are looking forward to it.

In advance of my next purchase, I've tried doing a little research and can't find an answer to one of my questions. Maybe you guys can offer some help. What would a used (in good condition) Hard Top, Full Side Doors and Rear Ambulance Doors cost approximately?

I parted mine for $1200 light damage to the driver door where the mirror was and the driver side panel.

We have the 76 hardtop off of the rig donated to the club it can be salvaged with a little work. The fronts doors were in really good shape. I think Corey decided he didn't want it he's currently storing some of it in his shop the rest is at Matt and Tina's. We'll part it out in a thread here on MUD after the crawl club members can make donations to the club for needed parts.

Did any of the floors or wells make it off of the donated rig?

Sounds like like you want yours back Armond. :p

haha! Actually, I'm a rag top man and thinking about what my true acquisition cost will be if I buy a complete vehicle and sell the top and dorrs. My plan is to make my next vehicle a topless trail rig with a full cage. I've got a few things working and we'll see how they pan out. Look, I'll be honest, I loved my vehicle, but it sold for a good price and I think I can build up something less pristine for half of what I got for it. That way, when I beat it up I won't be crying.

Not that I would use Eric the tub is rusted through pretty badly. I'm not one that cares to part any 40 but this one was bad off :frown: still has plenty good parts to donate though.

Your going back to Iraq? I would gladdly hold onto the buggy for you, I will (mis)treat it like it was my very own :P

Seriously though... When you go take care.

A little time then. I figure it probably flys by though.

How much longer do you have in the service?
