Lol, my first thought was it was going to be the island for sale on shawnigan lake...chainsaw work? To build a barge???

Cabin makes way more sense 🤣

Apparently this gap is all that prevents quatsino from being vehicle accessible. (Top road to bottom road.)

Very interesting property. It has “3 parking spaces” but is accessible only by boat.

Logging roads will get you close… to Quatsino Provincial Park. Given it doesn’t look like first growth Forrest, 4x4 access could likely be achievable. The only unknown would be who owns the property between the listing and the logging roads.

Maybe if we were smarter we’d stop voting for the parties that are trying to destroy and bankrupt Canada. But probably too late for that.

I’m aware of many projects that have gone bankrupt or close to bankruptcy that I can understand why they would be reluctant to finance a $100M project.
Building costs have been skyrocketing and there are so many new projects being built.

I’m not ready to pack up and leave any time soon.

I just checked the article out. The project is in a disputed area. It has the potential to be delayed for many years. Right or wrong doesn’t matter… it could easily turn into a huge nightmare.

By boat they just mean Quatsino. Realtor.ca actually puts the 'pin' for the property in the wrong spot. I found it on google maps; here's the link: 50°32'07.2"N 127°38'59.4"W - https://maps.app.goo.gl/XyHbNCwLvsxDCoVr8 Right by a creek for some easy fishing! Looks like nice mature trees in the back 20.
