Any ideas on a way to secure a distributor connector with a broken tab? I tried a zip tie but the orientation of the wires doesn't allow the zip to compress properly. It will eventually need to be replaced as the orange wire is chaffed, but I'm hoping for an interim fix. Anyone have a part number?

Beno has a write up about the connectors on the engine harness, I was looking at it recently.
Also eBay may have a pigtail connector available. I bought an alternator pigtail after jiffy lube smashed and broke a couple of my wires.

For a temp fix I would run one long wire tie or several short ones in line around the dizzy base. Then thread a short one thru between several ov the wire at the plug and tighten that back thru the longer one. It will look like an uneven figure 8. Ugly, but it will git u down the road!

Put a dab of rtv on the plug and connector and stick it together will hold it for long time till you replace the connector

It's ghetto, but a dab of FIPG on the edge of the connector will hold it just fine.

I have done the zip tie method. Ran like that for years. Replaced when I had an order in to @beno.

Thanks for the replies, I was able to ghetto rig a couple zip ties but the safety wire idea looks more secure.
