I just purchased a pair of cruisers a 67 and 71 (v8 chev) to work on and I'm looking for a little help. I've rebuilt 5 - 1966-1977 Broncos from the frame up so I have a good understanding of the basics. As those are now astronomically priced out of reach now even for hulks I'm moving to a new Toyota hobby. I know what to look for on Broncos ie: rust areas, major flaws, parts suppliers but this is a new game. Who do most of you use for parts? Is it better (for resale) to return to stock or modify. The 71 already has a 350 in it so I'd probably leave it or swap a newer more reliable Vortec or LS in it. I know these are way open ended questions but I'm dying to start on something as my wife is ready to kill me since I don't have any projects to keep me out of the house. I'll probably fix one and keep one for myself.

I like to keep mine as original as possible.
They are original only once. Just my opinion.
For parts, you can try the vendors that are on IH8MUD, I prefer to ask them first, it is just a way to support them.
Show us some pictures but before you do that make sure that the bezel on both of them is installed the right way.
Bezel police are always around on ih8mud.
