Not on a Cruiser, but I think the systems are the same.....

As I clamped the caliper back down (widened it to fit new pads) the fluid that I compressed came out from behind the brake master at the firewall, OR...(there was a good amount of fluid) OR it came out of the dual line fittings in the side of the brake master. It didn't come out of the lid.

Now I can't bleed them for nothing...I've bled the system over 30 times and no more pedal than when I started.

What are my options. Did the brake master take a s*** when the fluid was pushed back through, or is there an "O" ring in there somewhere that slipped and is drawing air?

I don't know.

It's on D's 2001 Honda Civic.

Thanks.
