So I bought Chuck from Pigeaten and I am looking to take the 4 wheel disc brake conversion from the 05/72 that is on mine currently and move it over to the 05/70. But I noticed that the brake booster is not located in the same place. On the 70 it is about 3 inches closer towards the middle and will not allow for the booster to fit. Do I need a booster or can I just upgrade the brake master cylinder? This is the JT Outfitters kit that was on the 72 when I purchased it.

If you want "power brakes" you'll need a booster.

One of the Toyota nerds can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this booster from City Racer is smaller and should work.

I will look into it. Thanks. As the other sits, if I add a booster it will hit the carb.
