we are playing at Zinc on Tuesday, 8-11pm.

for all you single types, we have a large group of mostly singles coming (and mostly female) that Jill and I know. non-singles, bring your S.O., it is a great romantic atmosphere.

Maybe. I'll be at San Pedro and Constitution until 9:30, which is getting late for me.

Maybe Onur show up for to work for me? I want to see you guys, but waking up at 4 and staying up that late is damn hard during the week. I will look for weekend shows until i take time off.

we haven't had any weekend shows. I need to look for more variety of places to play to get weekends. Zinc and Savoy are only Tuesdays or Thursdays. they have been very good to us and we get a gig every month to 2 months. that's what we shoot for, so haven't needed to keep looking elsewhere. lately though, it's been slower(they have a lot of good bands playing there). I'll see what I can do Rudy.

Darn. I can't make this one Shawn. :frown:

For those that can live one day of their lives with ~5 hours of sleep and not have a heart attack, this is a lot of fun and a great chance to hear some different music. I highly recommend it. No cover. If $$ is tight then nurse a $3 beer all night or sit next to Onur and he will buy you a beer. :D

you are very kind Mike.
I am pushing for a blues christmas song for this gig too. an old nontraditional Sonny Boy Williamson II song called 'Santa Claus'. along with a couple other new songs that Eden sings.:grinpimp:

Where is Zinc? Savoy, is that the place in the ABQ Uptown? I can walk there. Shawn, I will be there someday, just not sure when. Mike, I know I am not has old has you, but ten or so years ago, I was doing less sleep than that most of the week. Get home around two and get ready to leave for work by five will eventually takes its toll. It has caught up to me.

zinc is on central/girard/monte vista. NE corner next to buffalo exchange. Savoy is on Montgomery between Eubank and Juan Tabo. of course we found the places that are no where near Rio Rancho where we both live.

glad to hear it Jared! we are practicing this morning to have the new songs ready!

I am trying to understand this so let me see if I have this right.

Ten years ago you would party hard and get 5 hours sleep and go to work the next day.

Fast forward to today and now you can't go to work without more than 5 hours sleep because you're too tired from 10 years ago?

Is this what you are telling us? Really?

Suck it up Rudy. You can sleep when you're old like me. :flipoff2:

C & J are down!
Double darn! Crystal owes me a hug.

Put your reading glasses on old man :flipoff2:

I used to be out until 2-3 and get ready for work at 5. That only gave me 2-3 hours of sleeep. after a week of doing that it was a pain to stay awake at work, especially since driving is quite a bit of what I do. I would have to spend a weekend sleeping just to feel normal again. A couple of "lock-ins" while I was in high school I was up for 2 days straight, those were pretty weird and screwed up by the end of them. Now I can do a night or two with little sleep, but after that I am toast.
