Anyone have some rear body mounts for a 76 FJ40 they want to sell. I was looking at the back of mine the other day and noticed there are no mounts at all. I'm hoping to not have to buy a whole set just for those, but I will if need be.

i dan't have any to sell or give so I am not really answering your question, but... if you are talking about the rubber betweent the steel frame mount and the body I have always made them out of thick rubber. exhaust hanger or old conveyor belting. Holds up well and much cheaper.

Watch the road for truck rock / mud flaps.

Binder belt is what i run on my 4wheeler as mudflaps..
BUT I second Colin's Hanna rubber idea. Right off I-70 and close to the bars at power and light.

Man.. Something about that whole line of text just doesn't sound right does it?

More details please

Great ideas, so help me out with a few more details. With the stock mounts I can figure out how to mount them. But, if I'm going to create my own, I need to know how thick they should be and how to attach them. BTW, are there 2 or 4 in the back. I see where 2 would go, but on the SOR sight it seems to indicate 4 are used.

4 mounts in back. The question is what do the other mounts look like as far as deminsion. The back mounts are the same size as all the other mounts, with the exception of the running board mounts and the one that is a friction rub point by the hump in the frame rear wheelwell area.

I have a loose set that I can put a caliper on, but I don't think that will help you.
