I kinda like it when the tailgate is put back on. but that seems like a lot of work? Either way its gonna be badass!

I guess not being allowed on Walden's Ridge really struck a nerve, eh?

you have now just stepped right up to the ledge, the SAS will plunge you into the depths of getting serious! Looks good to me!

Oh I'm serious lol. Just can't do the sas till I have all the little crap. But hope to have it done by this time next year. We will be getting back on the bob today and then next pay day I'm ordering some new front coil overs to lift that heavy ass bumper and winch back up till I can do the sas. And replace those dumb cv axels. And hopefully regear it b4 GSMTR. That's the plan b4 may after GSMTR ill start on SAS. Well ill start buying all the parts and maybe by December of 2014 I can start the actual swap.

So I may be a little presumptive, but if your tacoma has lockout hubs up front and if the parts are still in usable shape... (I hear you use yer chit the right way)... then I would be willing to buy your knuckles, cv's, hubs, etc from you. :) just putting that out there

Oh and my vote is dove it while your cutting and narrow the tailgate to match :hillbilly: Doved or not I'd throw it back on cause something is bound to slide out, besides at least that way you have the option to have it or not.

I do use my rigs the right way lol the hard way.
I try to keep any broke parts repaired so when I do the sas most of it if not all will be in good working shape. I got a broken cv but bout to replace both of them. Also I will have a almost new set of toytec/bilstein coil overs on it then I'm buying them new just to use till I can do the swap.

And I'm just gonna bob it for now and tube bed it after the SAS.

And who you think taught him all that jynx? Lmao we've had some good times. Parts will be like New!!

If I get a hood I'll be welding it up everyday when I get off. Need the 2x4 and well be good. And I do believe I was the original Taco! I was using skinny pedal in 4low 2 gear bouncing off the limiter and bouncing around up hills while you was rocking the HEEP!

You did bounce off that concrete colvert pretty good that one night..LMAO :p:D

Also strongly thinking about saying screw it and picking up a Hobart 210 MVP or Miller 211 MVP or Lincoln's equivalent..really digging the Miller and Hobart tho. That way with the MVP I can use it til I get a 230v outlet set up then just take the plug off. They are lil more money but having a welder I can run off 120V & 230V will be nice. Can pack it up to GSMRT or other rides with flux core and leave the bottle at home and just have a small but powerful welder to cart around to the rides and plug it in if we need it.

I love my MM211 and picked it up for exactly the reason you mentioned. I don't have 230v now, but will someday and everything I read said buy the biggest you can reasonably afford, so that's where I landed at.

And southerntaco, I guess you can mark the lockouts, knuckles, cv's, ect. spoken for when the time comes. :hillbilly:

And where are all the pictures of this half-finished project?
