Hey all.

Have been working on my blinkers.

Don't have brake lights or a reverse light but i can jump every light on the truck !

Any advice?

Thanks.

Sounds like what mine did.It was in the contacts behind the steering wheel. A little soap and water after I took it apart and used a little sand paper on the brass contacts. The hazard switch on the dash has the same circuits incorporated into it as well. I took it apart and used the same method. Worked out great!

I have been rebuilding my 70 FJ40 and the blinkers didn't want to co-operate as well as i wanted LEDs. I went ahead and ditched the original blinker/hazard setup and did my own. i used a Flasher meant for LEDs, and so far so good. You can pick up diodes from any electronics store or (sighhhhh) Amazon. My rig uses simple LED trailer lights for the rear bumper, so the blinker is shared with the stop light.
