Glad you got it sorted out so fast. Would you consider giving some feedback on the TJM after your trip to Ouray?

So, it's been about a month since I installed the TJM and I wanted to give an update.

The locker itself works great. I've used it plenty since 100s in the Hills. The difference it makes is pretty impressive. No wheel spin, no jumping and everything seems much more controlled.

Installing and hooking up the compressor was the most time consuming thing I did. Mounting, soldering wires, running wires, air line, installing switches..... it was a full, full day. I mounted the compressor behind the main battery because the area in front of my aux battery (where most install theirs) is taken up with other things. This also made it easier to run wires through the firewall for the switches.

I do have a very small amount of fluid that weeps out from the air fitting in the bulkhead. It's something I'll talk to Carl at JT's about.

Other than that, the TJM PRO locker seems to be a worthwhile investment. I will add a rear locker sometime in the near future. I'll probably match the front with a TJM in the rear and may eat the cost and re-gear at that point. The Eaton E Locker is very intriguing as well. As far as ARB or TJM, I don't know if it matters. I don't think you can go wrong either way. I went with the TJM based on Carl's advice and a buddy having a little trouble with his ARB. The Eaton is uncharted territory in the 100 (USA) but I like what I've read so far.

Good to hear. I did my fluid change after my regear/locking and there was a pretty good amount of sludge there. Definitely try to change the fluid within 500mi-1k mi if you regear!!!

I've loved having the lockers. They take so much of the driveline shockloading out as long as one wheel has grip.

I wanted the eaton's pretty bad too but availability wasn't in the cards. Now that I have the air lockers I really like how there's no engagement lag like with my Toyota e-locker at times. I don't know where the eaton's will fall in comparison. From what I remember there were magnetic components instead of the mechanical approach toyota has which I would think would engage pretty much spot on.
