Black frame-gloss, semi gloss or flat?

My frame was painted with epoxy, then left in the sun. Now the finish is chalk like- have to clean and sand surface before painting. any reason why gloss, semi gloss, or flat would be better under my 55?

Eastwood Chassis Black satin is supposed to be kinda sorta OEM but I’m sure that varies by OEM. I have seen satin and semi-gloss touted as the “correct” frame color. I personally would stay away from high gloss or flat.

I dip-galvanized my frame. no paint to worry about..
