Could You attach some photos, drawings of soft top mounting system to the windshield frame, to vertical bars above of doors, to the central roll bar and to rear gates ??

What are you guys using for rear doors? just pull the full size ones out and fab something up, or are 1/2 doors out there and available?

take a factory soft top frame and extend to fit the 73/74 ...
easiest.
i have a factory kit sitting here.

here is the issue, take a look at this thread:

in that thread you will see all the parts you need to have to convert a factory soft top to hard top. reverse the process and you get the idea of the amount of parts you will require.
you will need to lengthen the center 2 side bars aprox 11" and then it becomes a bolt on.

pitty there's no picture of the LC with your factory soft top mounted?
I understand the sidebars would have to be lengthened in order to fit, but what about the canvas then?

the canvas for sure will need to be modified.
note: factory soft top fabric is NOT canvas, it is a cheap vinyl that shrinks and becomes hard in just a couple years.
