I like it. Very simple..

I would weld some expanded metal to the top of your rear bumper for standing on when things are muddy/slippery, or add some traction strips.

Curious, as I've been pondering front bumper ideas for my 70 as well, how your attachment points to the frame horns work?

I'm thinking of extending the horns on mine a few inches so there's something decent to bolt to, stock there's only a couple inches there, and it's tough to get much more than a couple bolts per side, and those have to be very close together....

( unless mine are shorter than stock, could be, the p.o. was a dumbass)

I like your front bumper design btw, when I get around to it, I plan to build something similar, angular bumpers like yours and arb's just look better on 70's than tube ones.

cheers,
ryan

Horton is alive and well in Flagstaff, Arizona.

I haven't done much, as Bull really had it well prepped when I got it.

Recent changes included going to a set of 33x10.5R15 BFG All Terrains, Factory Snorkel and airbox, National Luna dual battery system w/new DieHard Platinum batteries, and a 2m/70cm Yaesu radio.

It's been down through Baja a couple of times, and has recently been serving duty with our local SAR team, being as with the lockers and Konig chains on the tires, it hasn't been stopped yet.

Next up is a synthetic line for the winch, possible ARB commercial bumper and rear tire carrier....

I'm guessing that everybody means that they are glad that it moved on to someone else that will continue to take care of it.:D

You're correct.
