Well I need to get things moving so I have decided to sell my cruisers :crybaby: Here is what I have:

Green 1984 cdn spec BJ42 diesel:

I'm the second owner of this truck bought this truck for parts a year ago from a fellow that had originally purchase it here in town at the Toyota Dealership in 1984. The body is rusted in the usual place but is still in overall good shape. 240 000km motor runs great and doesn't smoke. the frame is solid with the exception of a small rust spot in the back near the shackle hanger . At first I was thinking of parting it out but this truck is so original and as lots of potential to make a great restoration/collection cruiser. It is still on the road and I often ride it to work. Here what it comes with

- 3B diesel
- 5 speed
- stock power steering
- new batteries
- new original not install Toyota fenders
- new glow plugs
- 240 000km
asking $5500

Olive Brown 1981 cdn spec BJ42 Turbo diesel:

This cruiser as allot of time, money and memories into it. I have used it trough out the years as a summer truck for wheeling, hunting and fishing. The body has been rebuilt 7-8 years ago and would need a bit of freshening up! Some rust spots and a few good scratches. The frame is in great condition the rear bumper/cross member was rebuilt as original with spring perch. I have the original hard top with rust free side doors and ambulance doors plus soft top with soft haft/full doors and much more...

3B turbo Diesel (Garrett turbo by Cruiser Dan’s kit)
4speed
saginaw power steering
4'' HFS Leaf Springs
Aussie locker rear
Solar Volatage converter 24v-12v
New Iron Pig seats
Tuffy locking center console
Kaymar softtop
HID 8'' spot lights
Custom front bumper all ready for Warn Winch with alloys fear lead
Custom build rear bumper
I'm probably forgetting more...
Asking $14500

Just wanted to say thanks to Marc. The bj was better than described and he was easy to do business with. If he says it you can believe it! 84 bj42 heading to KY. Thanks again!

P.S. keep that pretty turbo diesel! That one is bad ass!

Did the second one sell? Might be up for a winter trip to Eastern Canada with an empty trailer coming home. Would be a nice addition to my '83.

Thank you
Marc

Are the photobucket pictures still pretty indicative of it's condition? Any leaks or issues? I'll go back to the beginning a read the thread, see if I come up with any more questions.

Brown BJ42

Ok I still have my Brown BJ42 for sale I haven't put to much effort on selling it this summer and now I'm ready to let it go! I took her only a few times since last posted and that was to install new tires and took her to work once in awhile to keep her running. Here's a list of what was done to it this summer.

- New 33x10.5 Tires
- rebuild starter
- New Toyota ignition barrel
- New Toyota ignition wires
- New Toyota font transfert case yoke seal
- New Toyota front diff. pinion seal

I will probably start a fresh thread to get more views.

Thank you
Marc
