Best one up there is the one for the winch in/out. No more plugging in cables and remote controls.
Only one thing wrong with that overhead console Ken, the Bee Gees...

Well the final part of this rebuild has come to an end. Took her on her first real drive over the last few days. Drove from Cooktown to Cairns and then to Kurramine Beach and back almost 1000klms. What can I say she performed well. Fuel economy was about 10.5 litres per 100klms. The 13bt is a great engine. She went up the Kuranda range no dramas in 3rd gear and wanted to go up to 4th but couldnt do it cause of the tightness of the corners. Second range which is about 10% grade she flew all the way up in 4th gear. I stretched her legs a bit on the way home and although I normally sat on about 95kph stretched her out to 120kph which she did easily and still wanted to keep going.
Met a guy in Mt Molloy and had to stop and have a chat with him on the way through who had a nice LX as well.
Now for the hard part of this whole journey, I am going to sell Ruby and buy myself a HJ47 ute to do up.

Well the road has come to an end with this old girl. She has been sold and being picked up tomorrow to go to a new home. I think there will be a tear or two shed as she drives away. Has been a good ride over the last 4 years 
. However when one door closes another opens and I am now in the hunt for a 82-84 HJ47 for another rebuild.
