I just put this setup on my 2016. 30mm coil spacer in the back. 4th perch up front. Stock rear springs. Tires are general grabber ATX’s sized 275/70 r18. I couldn’t be happier 😍

Anyone installed the bilstein rear springs with front on either 1st or second circlip? I had the 6112/5160 combo on my FJC and really liked it. Looking to replace my 200's tired stick suspension. I'm looking to keep the factory rake and don't want to go higher than 1st or second circlip. Dont care about being level( actually this is dumb and impractical but to each their own...)But on a stock 200 with 3rd row is the rear going to be way high?

Not really interested in ome 2170 or 2171s as I'd like to keep the stock spring rate and use airbags when needed for towing/ loaded with my giblets and all their crap.

Yes. Since last summer I have had the 6112/5160 combo installed, with Bilstein HD springs on my '18 200 series. Asked the installer to maintain "factory" rake, which was accomplished with 2nd perch. (If I recall correctly, he played with it between 1st and 2nd and settled on second.). At any rate, I love the suspension; significantly more "poised" and damp, with great rebound control and improved travel. Increased the factory height by (only) about 1 inch or so. (Removed 3rd row but added ARB/Outback drawer system, and have a K9 rack - no other weight-altering mods.). Running stock-size Blizzaks on factory wheels (winter) and stock-sized AT tires (soon to be BFG T/A AT KO2s) on TRD BBSes (summer).

Thanks! this is helpful as I'm on clip 5(bought it like that) and want to lower a tad when I install my trd pro's. Was going to go with the 2170 but now i might go with Bilstein's.

Glad my experience can be helpful. My overall philosophy on this 200 "build" (I also have an old 100 series with ARB OME HD suspension and larger tires) is to keep it as close to stock as I can (You can't out-engineer Toyota Land Cruiser engineers!) unless I have a specific reason for a mod (and understand the trade-off). So, I am optimizing for long road trips, mostly on highways/high speed, but occasionally - at the end of the line - dirt/off-road access that might be hours/days/hundreds of miles - think "Baja". Also live day-to-day in the mountains and do a ton of snow driving in the winter - as it happens, nothing but, this winter! Didn't want the trade offs of increased tire size and do want wheel/spare interchangeability from season to season, but with an improved/more capable suspension. So far this Bilstein set up has been perfect for my needs.

I am real glade that you have posted this as this is what I plan to put on mine. I was debating whether to go with the heavy-duty Bilstein rear springs or stick with the standard Bilsteins. Since I can be rather heavy when I go on trips, I think the heavier spring would be better. I also agree that staying as OEM as possible is usually the best way to go. Over the 40 or so years I have modified my cars, most aftermarket stuff winds up being more of a problem than the OEM parts. I had this general Bilstein setup (front shocks) on my Tundra and it was fine. No problems for 200,000 miles. I hear you about the snow! That one storm in March dumped 89 inches in my front yard.

Looking for recommendations on where to get 6112s & 5160s rear. I was originally going to use suspensionlifts.com as they have 200 series Bilstein lifts in stock, but I have no experience with this site. Where have y’all sourced your lifts?

Thanks! PFA

Just ordered mine from 4 wheel parts day before yesterday and the 6112 arrived today, 5160s are on the way. They ship separately for some reason. Website says no stock but they have em, you just need to call.

2021 HE no factory 3rd row. 5th perch up front, stock HE springs in rear with a 5mm coil packer. Tires are 275/70 R18 General Grabber A/TX. Ride is fantastic, I was worried that it would be harsh and take away from the factory plush ride, but it has been great. I wish I would have done it sooner.

Center of hub to bottom of wheel well measurements.

Stock-
FL- 20" FR- 20"
RL- 22.5" RR- 22.75"

After-
FL- 23" FR- 22.5"
RL- 24" RR- 24"

Ride is definitely smoother with my Rhino front bumper. So a little bit more weight on the nose seems to help

I noticed the same when i installed my hidden winch. Ride up front is perfect now. still playing games with the rear to balance towing performance and unloaded ride quality.

Would you happen to have a side profile pic?

Wanted to check for feedback to see if my plan & part numbers are correct - I want to go with Bilstein all around on this lift and choosing to do heavy duty springs on rear.....

Rear Coils 53-297686
Rear Shocks 25-311402 & 25-311419
Front Kit 47-311145

I have no other weight impacting mods, non-HE 2019 Cruiser with 3rd-row seats still installed. I like to load up and want to maintain rake on upcoming lift.

Thanks guys.

I ordered Bilstein everything, front/rear shocks & coils. Decided to go with non HD rear coils since I’m not carrying extra weight back there and may remove seats even after it settles. Received most parts already (Front kit and rear right shock). Rear coils tracking showing arrival tomorrow but rear left coil on backorder with Summit. I have checked everywhere and all vendors are waiting on Bilstein to resupply with cloudy etas. This gives me time to make a decision on front UCA’s since Im going 2”-ish and want to have options/space down the road if I go bigger on tires (currently on 285/65/18). Head spinning from reading up on UCA’s …..Dobinson’s looking like they make sense?
