I just put this setup on my 2016. 30mm coil spacer in the back. 4th perch up front. Stock rear springs. Tires are general grabber ATX’s sized 275/70 r18. I couldn’t be happier

Thanks! this is helpful as I'm on clip 5(bought it like that) and want to lower a tad when I install my trd pro's. Was going to go with the 2170 but now i might go with Bilstein's.Yes. Since last summer I have had the 6112/5160 combo installed, with Bilstein HD springs on my '18 200 series. Asked the installer to maintain "factory" rake, which was accomplished with 2nd perch. (If I recall correctly, he played with it between 1st and 2nd and settled on second.). At any rate, I love the suspension; significantly more "poised" and damp, with great rebound control and improved travel. Increased the factory height by (only) about 1 inch or so. (Removed 3rd row but added ARB/Outback drawer system, and have a K9 rack - no other weight-altering mods.). Running stock-size Blizzaks on factory wheels (winter) and stock-sized AT tires (soon to be BFG T/A AT KO2s) on TRD BBSes (summer).

Glad my experience can be helpful. My overall philosophy on this 200 "build" (I also have an old 100 series with ARB OME HD suspension and larger tires) is to keep it as close to stock as I can (You can't out-engineer Toyota Land Cruiser engineers!) unless I have a specific reason for a mod (and understand the trade-off). So, I am optimizing for long road trips, mostly on highways/high speed, but occasionally - at the end of the line - dirt/off-road access that might be hours/days/hundreds of miles - think "Baja". Also live day-to-day in the mountains and do a ton of snow driving in the winter - as it happens, nothing but, this winter! Didn't want the trade offs of increased tire size and do want wheel/spare interchangeability from season to season, but with an improved/more capable suspension. So far this Bilstein set up has been perfect for my needs. Thanks! this is helpful as I'm on clip 5(bought it like that) and want to lower a tad when I install my trd pro's. I am real glade that you have posted this as this is what I plan to put on mine. I was debating whether to go with the heavy-duty Bilstein rear springs or stick with the standard Bilsteins. Since I can be rather heavy when I go on trips, I think the heavier spring would be better. I also agree that staying as OEM as possible is usually the best way to go. Over the 40 or so years I have modified my cars, most aftermarket stuff winds up being more of a problem than the OEM parts. I had this general Bilstein setup (front shocks) on my Tundra and it was fine. No problems for 200,000 miles. I hear you about the snow! That one storm in March dumped 89 inches in my front yard.Glad my experience can be helpful. I noticed the same when i installed my hidden winch. Ride up front is perfect now. still playing games with the rear to balance towing performance and unloaded ride quality.Ride is definitely smoother with my Rhino front bumper. So a little bit more weight on the nose seems to help
