When I was trying to make my shifter plate look nicer I was able to disassemble it all and then on the back I took a small drill bit and drilled through each of the little plastic posts to break the heads off and then release the sort of peened plastic heads. I was then able to separate the PRNDL plastic piece and the chromed shift gate piece from the plate. When I put it all back together I had enough of the posts that I could kind of pop everything back in and sort of peen the plastic back over to lock it back in.

I don't know how helpful that info is, and unfortunately I didn't take pictures.

We will just make everything from billet. We won’t make people do the transfer
