Great pics and really nice looking truck!
I have the same top with soft and hard doors. Have the gap with the hard doors, but the soft doors close up that gap just fine. Even so, I rarely use them.

Actually I never got to rolling them up....I'll try to do it soon despite the cool weather...I saw a picture somewhere with the supertop rolled up...I'll try to find it as well.....
I read that too...Don't know what the deal is with that....I like my top and could see getting another later....
Mine had the same problem. I believe I cut mine in the center so it would fit and bent the edges down. I don't have any issue with it but would need to confirm that. A good rule of thumb is to put some silicone where the two pieces meet in the center. In a hard rain water will flow in this way.
great job!! looks excellent! I also have a supertop on my '73. I notice you have the same open area where the back of the door meets the uprights as I do on mine. The only bummer I have with that is the wife lets me know that the wind on the back of her arm is cold..... I mentioned that she should wear sleeves or a coat.....
They do fit better but are not perfect. Best part is the soft door make it a snap to take the doors on and off and if you buy the 2 piece they can be easily stored in the back or converted to half doors.

Can you tell me what that strap is for? The one that is halfway down the diagonal cross member.
As stated they are for holding the sides down when folded. I onther other hand use small bungie cords for this as they hold it tighter. I like wrapping them around the roll bar. On a tight trail they can get hung on things if not strapped tightly. I use the straps hold up the back window when I roll it up. I hate unzipping and taking the back window out. More chance for it to fly out down the road. I wish they would have put a couple straps with buttons in the back for this. But those straps with the plastic things work just fine.
Have the same problem. Nothing like going down the highway and having one come undone. I've found if I telescope the roll forward it won't come out. Had they moved the strap back 6 inches we wouldn't have this problem.
Looks good. I like how they have created the "track" along the tub rails to attach the top. The old tops required snaps and drilling and never held. I wish they would come up with a better method of attachment along the top of the doors rather than velcro. That never held on my old top and would blow open at highway speeds.
Amen. Mine don't stay either. If they made the velcro 2 inches wide it would probably fix this. Same for the side of the doors. Mine barely fits. I have to roll it with my hand a lot. 2 extra inches of fabric and two inch velcro would fix this.
One tip. Don't try to snap the side channels in last when the top is cold. You need to try and get them in and to stay and then move the rear bow up and into place. ALso the velcro adhesive on the tailgate will come off when it's cold. Make sure you clean the gate well before putting it on.

Probably one of the coolest features of having the top is being able to roll almost all of it up.

Should be able to get one for around 625'ish shipped including the soft top bows and all hardware....everything you need to install except tools...

How hard is it to take all BUT the windshield channel off ... in case I want to use just my bikini top and not have all the extra tubing.
Does the top undo at the windhield and fold back for driving around "OPEN" like a Jeep or does it have to stay on let's say with the sides rolled up and the rest on like a bikini top?
Also I have a full rollcage but my hardtop fits. It does not come near the door edges. I use 2 of the main roll bars like the ICON. Any forseeable issues?
Also I have an aluminum AQUALU tub, windhield and tailgate ( with lockable box ). The tub has more of a rectangular hole behind the front door.
Has anyone ever put one on the aluminum tub? ( I was wondering it the rails would fit over the outer ridge of the tub like on the OEM tub.)

Top is easy to fold back and ride open. takes maybe 2-5 min to do it right.

I had that problem with the velcro not holding so I cut some 1in long pieces of 1in black poly pipe and split them on one side from end to end then just spead them appart and slid them over the top and the bow and it held them tight togehter.Looks good.
