Sorry haven't been around much this summer internet, or events. We have been pretty busy this summer working on the new garage.

Here is some pictures, I am a little behind on updating them. It is now fully roofed, the ends are closed in, stairs up inside, and we started Gorilla wrapping tonight. Plumbing, and electrical are next on the list.

Great to hear from you!

Did you get hit with weather that caused the collapse, or just bad bracing as you built? That really sucks either way....

Looks like you "got back on the horse" and got it back up.

What an awesome project. Looks like you are doing everything right! Great looking foundation. Too many people skimp on garage foundations and regret it later.

OH, and I love the radient heat floor. Throw the creeper away and lay on the floor!

Cheers!

The collapse was caused by a little bit of both. We had plenty of bracing, so we thought, but not enough for 60 mph winds. Hadn't seen a storm in 6 weeks, so we didn't brace for one.

Smartest thing ever out of my father in laws mouth.... RUN FOR YOUR LIFE...

Second smartest.... you can never build a garage big enough.

Updated some pictures to the slideshow.
