Battery Replacment Recommendations

For H8/Group 49, I prefer the Duralast Platinum AGM (Autozone) because they’re made in Germany. Better warranty than Costco too, I believe.

They do have an additional year on the warranty, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra $80 for me. To each their own though!

For the past 10 years I have been using regular lead acid interstate batteries from Costco on all the vehicles. I have gotten very good lifespans with them and warranty replacements are a breeze. I have thought about going with AGM batteries but I haven't really felt the need to spend more. My vehicles are also stock and lack mods demanding more power.

I saw this and wanted to get yalls take. Anyone ever try this? Seems like a way to save a little and have less impact on the earth doing it yourself from a recharging perspective.

I picked AutoZone because they are nationwide. Your battery could die anywhere!

I have heard that it works, don't know for how long. I have not tried it to see if its really true.
