My buddy found a 83 one owner up by superlift this weekend for $3500. They are out there....

There is a blue one on Millcreek Rd. as you are headed towards Superlift. Blue Extra Cab 4WD 84 or 85 manual trans. Owner wants $4K. Don't know mileage. Rather straight, but a little frame rust and bed rust. Cloth bucket seats. I can try to get a phone number if someone is interested.

No, that is the one.....I just got the scoop. 84. Joel Withers bought it. He is going to get it tomorrow. Guy took $3500. Preacher. Original owner. Bought off showroom floor.

Engine rebuilt 15K ago. As were brakes. All done at Toyota. Total score. 187,000 miles. Also new clutch.

He is willing to hold sale for me till tomorrow. He will be at the walmart parking lot Germantown parkway and trinity rd in Cordova at 6:45 this evening.

If you could look it over and check for obvious signs of a bad motor/transmission etc. If you can let me know this, it will save me a long drive.

First red flag is it is a 22R...and 4wd. I think after 85 they where all 22RE on 4wds. So ask about a engine swap or they lost the EFI.
