***DATE: APRIL 2nd!!***
******UPDATE: Location will be at Deer Creek******

It's that time again, the second annual bacon run(un-official gathering)!!
Bring you favorite bacon based treat, or make in over the fire.
Meet at Albertsons(Allen Creek Rd. and Redwood Hwy.) @ 9:00am and roll out at 9:30. Or just meet us down there at some point around noon. This will be an easy but bumpy drive with possibly a small creek crossing.

Bring yourself, family, friends, pets and be ready for a good time!

I will be in Bend that weekend. :....( Although I will be in cabin with sweet hot tub and skiing with engine power sleds

Still floating around in the date, want to make sure there is snow but not to much that we can't get up there. In fact I'm headed up to see what kind of snow pack is up there. And the 'secret spot' is the cabin ;)

What other dates work with people? This is only 3 weeks later than our last run, and we have a lot more snow so far :steer:

I would have a better chance on one of those dates. Both open right now and can try to plan around them for work.

Is this a 1 day excursion or a weekend? I'm interested but also a little worried as it may be the first off-road trip for my cruiser. What is the level of difficulty for an fj60 on 33's?

Easy peasy..... ok well minus snow depth and conditions. It's just fire roads up to the Wrangler shed/cabin/thingy. Typically 1 day thing, but would easy for those that would want to snow/cold weather camp to do so. Read as some may stay to camp if they choose, most will probably head back down the hill before dark.

Snow will be the only if factor, so good tires or chains maybe if needed. Last time we all made it fine in pretty wet snow pack with some ice in just 4wd.
