Soooo, any snow up on the hill?
Bringing Ernie and those tires are more street than not.
Still, plans are to be there or be square.
What Ty said. I'm going to try and head up there this Monday and next Monday to get a feel for it. No promises on where we are going to end up at this point.

I did the Anderson Loop this weekend. But, heading up past the Wagner Trail head should be interesting. If anybody wants to go out for some fun this weekend let me know......

looks like I'll bring my traction devices.

Went out with Travis in the sammi today(yes, it runs!) and I am calling it a no go to the Wrangle camp shelter. There was about 18" of fresh wet snow on top of about 6' of packed snow where there wasn't water running down the road. Really strange, but a gorgeous day to be out and about. And we where still probably 1000 vertical feet from the cabin, only took four hours to get a mile up the road...

So Trav is going to scout Deer Creek tomorrow and Spencer creek. I am leaning towards Deer creek, build a shanty town and possibly stay the night if it is decent. All my other ideas are going to be under many feet of snow too.

What say ye? Meet at the Albertson's on the GP highway heading out of town an convoy from there?

Speak up or just come along and have a good time.

P.S. we are going to give it the next two Monday's to see if anything changes...

I was at Deer Creek today. I wish I had taken a picture but the water at the crossing was raging! Highest I've ever seen it. Since you cant get to Wrangle maybe you could do Deer Creek and spend time seeing who can make the crossing?? I ran into Kief there a couple weeks ago and today it was higher than that from the recent rains, who knows about 3 weeks from now. I went in from Kerby Flat, NOT the bridge side so I can't say what the road is like on the other side. There was one spot that had washed away pretty bad last time I was there, no telling what it looks like now. :meh:

The recon team went for a drive down to deer creek today and reported back...

Deer creek is impassible as of this point, and coming from the green bridge is doable just tight at one point.

Travis, little people, Sam and Jerm, Myself and Ashleigh are going to camp Friday and Saturday night. Any other takers?? A little over two weeks out!!!

For good measure

Shouldn't be to hard. Worse case we could plan on meeting you if we don't see you by a certain time and show you the way. If you made it Friday approximately what time would you be showing up? I would be glad to meet you somewhere.

Been thru once off 8 Dollar. Don't remember it well but you turn north right before a bridge, yes?
Is there a water crossing?
Game as can be assuming my tires hold out!
Is there cell service out there?

Yes. 8 Dollar Mtn turn off. Yes Right up the fire road before the bridge. No water crossing that way, but nasty washout to maneuver that get worse each year. Yes, excellent cell service there.
