I'd also consider using a piece of 80/20 aluminum, with a smaller piece slid in, in the same fashion. I think that would be a bit mo' betta

Rodney, I got my Dometic track at Laurelhurst Distributors right there on Burnside. It fits a lot of 'corded' hem awnings. They'll cut you sections. In fact, I have an extra Slimline you can have. It needs to be trimmed to fit the width but I can think of no other vehicle I would rather donate something to!
