Auxiliary Fuel Tank

Hi all,
By relocating the spare wheel to the cargo bay, I made room for an auxiliary tank. I bought one from Long Range America. If anyone's thinking about it, I highly recommend it. ~58 gallons of fuel goes a LONG way, and the installation is completely unobtrusive.

Mine is supposed to be arriving in a couple of days...... got any installation tips or things i should have beforehand ?

Removal of the rear suspension leveling pump is required... I changed the rear shocks while I was in there, and swapped out the switch on the center console for a coin tray.

All that stuff has been gone on mine.....so i will assume that everything you needed to install the tank
came with the kit?

Yup; the kit was complete. Nothing else needed.

How much are these tanks? the website didn’t say and I saw an old thread on a 4Runner site that estimated $1700.

Is it much different than getting a race fuel cell and pumping into the main tank once the main tank is low?
