I've chased down aftermarket engine compartment jumpers for enabling 3rd party aux buttons

Has anyone chased down pigtails that connect to the harness under the dash connecting factory harness to the aftermarket buttons?

Thanks,

I'll try to start putting a post together once I have, a solution I'm not embarrassed by.

Toyota style 22.8 mm square buttons on Ali express New
THey have lots of 22.8 or 23 mm square buttons on ali express. THese ahve been used in 4th gen tacos and other similar toyotas in the past.

I spent forver digging through them looking for dual USB ports that fit there too, both with and without a digital volt meter.
(MY plan is to fab a dual battery setup in the Taco , i adore dual batteries and a smart controller, as I have in my 60.)
I'm sharing the links here in case anyone cares.

and blank buttons you can laser etch whatever you want on.

I bought way to many buttons, so i can see which i like best.

If you just want to get your feet wet, they sell them on Amazon in a much more limited selection.

I have a couple of these and will use them for my rear-facing light bars.
(In my 02 Tundra, the tint + the camper glass makes to too dark to see out at night, so rear facinf square LED pods make life alot easier)

Ordered these from Amazon to hook up using the existing harness to rear bumper. they look remarkably like the toyota ones, even down to teh color card in the package..

Normally I'd just buy the OEM Toyota part, but I'm not sure I'm going to get it all working yet, so I'm using cheap parts to get a proof of concept working.

Hope it helps somebody
