Hi Guys,
My car is Turbo-Diesel, Engine 1HD-T, A/T of type A442F and it heats up in every driving condition except when cruising at 50 mph and above. I installed a cooler from Wholesaleautomatic Australia and the problem persists.

I was advised to install a Lock-up Control (from wholesaleautomatic, Australia) which will control the lock-up of the Torque Converter (not in all conditions but in some)

The use of the lock-up controller is mostly when the throttle is less than 50%

QUESTIONS
1. HOW to asses what is the throttle % at a certain moment in order to turn on the Lock-up switch.
2. IS this based only on the driver's "feel" and experience or also the rpm and speed or a combination can
be used to asses the throttle percentage?
3. IS there an indicator on the market that can be installed and calibrated to show the throttle percentage?

Tks for the advise,
Kimmron
